A functional layer, which in this case consists of EVOH, does not necessarily have to serve as a barrier layer.
It can also be used for optical purposes, as in this example. The EVOH layer is applied to the outside and gives the bottle a particularly classy and high-quality deep effect.
This effect is particularly popular in the cosmetics industry and for personal care products.
Commonly, CoEx4 technology is used for agrochemical products or for fresh juices.
The Glass Effect offers you the possibility to produce bottles with a glass appearance without the disadvantages of a glass bottle.
Glass bottles are fragile and the required energy to produce glass bottles is much higher than the energy required to produce plastic bottles.
Glass bottles also cause very high CO² emissions during transportation because they are much heavier than plastic bottles.
So the glass optics bottle is in no way inferior to a real glass bottle. Its high quality appearance makes it perfect for use in the cosmetics industry.
Special colors and effects such as glitter are very expensive.
If you use them in a DeCo application, you will save a lot of color and therefore money. In this case, the thicker main layer is made of virgin material, while only a thin outer layer needs to be colored.
In addition, recycled materials can be used for the main layer, see DeCo with PCR.
We would like to thank Finke Farben for providing the masterbatches for this bottle.
Please refer to the chart for information about the materials used and the layer configurations.
The color gradient is a popular visual tool that makes your bottles look unique on the shelf.
It is created by DeCo technology and is 100% recyclable due to the fact that both layers are made of the same material.
All conceivable combinations of colors are possible, according to your individual requirements.
Both from transparent to opaque, as well as the change from one, to another color are possible and always an eye-catcher.
The materials for this bottle were provided by the company Milliken.
